About
Fast food chain - fries and a few other items are gluten-free by ingredients, but McDonald's UK makes no gluten-free claims for the rest of the menu.

Gluten-Free Friendly Options
- Dedicated gluten-free fryer
McDonald's UK official policy: they "cannot make a claim any of our food is gluten free in the UK" because they can't guarantee no cross-contamination. Fries, hash browns, and veggie dippers don't contain gluten ingredients and are cooked in a dedicated fryer separate from breaded items. A beef burger patty without the bun is gluten-free by ingredients, but the bun itself is not, and there's no gluten-free bun option. Most chicken items (nuggets, burgers, wraps) are coated in a gluten-containing batter/crumb - avoid these. This is not a dedicated gluten-free kitchen overall - always mention your coeliac disease when ordering.
Always confirm current gluten-free procedures with staff before ordering — menus and processes can change.
